Does God Still Heal Today? Let's Talk About It.
Shalom, y'all!
Have you ever prayed for healing?
Maybe it was for yourself. Maybe it was for someone you love. Maybe you've witnessed something you can only describe as a miracle.
Or maybe you're still waiting for an answer.
Healing is one of those topics that can stir up so many emotions. Hope. Faith. Questions. Sometimes even frustration.
And I think that's exactly why we need to be willing to talk about it.
🎙️ THIS WEEK ON RYBICKULOUS FAITH
What Does the Bible Really Say About Healing? | Spencer Coffman
📅 Monday, October 12, 2026
⏰ 6:00 AM Eastern
📺 Abundant TV, YouTube, and your favorite podcast platforms
This week, I'm welcoming Spencer Coffman, founder of Social Media Ministries, for a conversation that goes beyond healing.
We're digging into Scripture, discussing the power of prayer, exploring spiritual warfare, and asking what it really means to put our faith into action.
Spencer shares personal healing testimonies and his understanding of what the Bible teaches about divine health.
But our conversation also takes us somewhere I think every Christian needs to consider.
Are we simply sharing the Gospel, or are we helping people become disciples?
Because introducing someone to Jesus is beautiful. But walking alongside them as they grow in their faith? That's where discipleship begins.
And you don't have to be a pastor, theologian, or ministry leader to make a difference.
Sometimes you just need ten seconds of courage.
❤️ A THOUGHT FROM MY HEART
Something I've learned through my own journey is that faith doesn't mean having every answer.
Sometimes we pray, and God moves in ways we never imagined.
Other times, we pray and wait.
And sometimes we find ourselves asking questions we never thought we'd have to ask.
But here's what I want you to remember:
Your unanswered prayers do not mean God has stopped listening.
Your struggles do not make you less faithful.
And your story doesn't have to include a miraculous ending to be worth sharing.
We serve a God who meets us in the middle of our circumstances, not just on the other side of them.
That's why I love having conversations like this one. They challenge us to open our Bibles, examine what we believe, and continue seeking Jesus.
📖 SCRIPTURE TO CARRY THIS WEEK
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
Romans 15:13 (KJV)
Whatever you're facing this week, I pray you remember that hope is not dependent on your circumstances.
Our hope is found in Jesus.
✨ YOUR RYBICKULOUS FAITH CHALLENGE
This week, I want to challenge you to do three things:
Understand Your Faith: Open your Bible and spend time studying what Scripture teaches about healing and prayer.
Own Your Story: Think about a time God sustained you through something difficult. It may not have happened the way you expected, but how did He meet you there?
Share Boldly: Encourage someone with that testimony. You never know who needs to hear it.
You don't need the perfect words.
You just need a willing heart.
